Who is Durham Medical?
Durham is made up of industry professionals with over 100 years combined experience in engineering, supply chain, operations and quality. We have decades of extrusion and complex catheter assembly experience, so we know what it is like using our product on the receiving side. During our years of being a customer to the existing FEP heat shrink suppliers, we felt there had to be a better way. Hence the birth of Durham Medical.
Our production facility is located in beautiful Chattanooga TN, less than 5 minutes from the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport and 10 minutes to historic downtown.
If you are a startup of only one person, or a multi-billion-dollar powerhouse, you will receive the same world class customer service from Durham. Our goal is to treat every customer as it they were our only customer. When you contact Durham, you will be speaking to a product expert in the factory and on the production floor, not some remote customer service person.
At Durham we are serious about quality. We are ISO 13485 compliant and are pursing our certification.
How We Partner
At Durham, we strive to be an extension of your operation. Our process for onboarding new customers is to first add the capacity, then approach potential customers. We will not approach any new customers until we have open capacity to sell. This way we can maintain fixed lead times and give each customer optimal support and service.
